70 MILLION REASONS WHY

Client : The Global Fund
Agency : M&C Saatchi

We created a fast-paced, high-impact animation for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to spotlight the extraordinary milestone of 70 million lives saved since 2002. The film was designed not only to communicate scale, but to humanise it, transforming a powerful statistic into a clear and urgent message: investing in global health works.

At its core, the animation emphasised the Fund’s role in combating AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria while strengthening health systems around the world. The narrative positioned these efforts as frontline protection, stopping infectious diseases at their source and reducing the risk of future pandemics. Rather than presenting global health as distant or abstract, the piece framed it as interconnected and collective. In an increasingly interdependent world, safeguarding vulnerable communities ultimately safeguards everyone. The message was clear: global health is a shared responsibility, and continued investment is essential to end these epidemics for good.

Visually, we adopted a raw, textural, multi-media approach to ground the story in authenticity. Photography and video captured on the ground, in clinics, communities, and field operations, were layered with bold typography, kinetic transitions, and tactile graphic elements. Subtle grain, paper textures, and analogue treatments kept the aesthetic honest and human, avoiding overly polished finishes in favour of something more immediate and emotionally resonant. The pacing was deliberate and propulsive, reflecting both urgency and optimism.

The result was a powerful call to action: a celebration of immense impact, paired with a reminder that the work is not finished.

Stop at Nothing.
